1General Information

This website and its services are operated by The Trustee for The Lorenzon Ferraz Family Trust (ABN: 857 67 198 441), also known as ptewhat. By purchasing or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2Course Structure

Memberships

Memberships include access to recorded lessons, weekly live classes, practice materials, and optional one-on-one sessions. Some memberships may include private lesson credits that must be used during the membership period.

Initial Course

The initial course grants access for 2 months. During this time, students can attend live sessions, watch all recorded content, use the practice platform, and enjoy all other included resources. This initial course is a one-time subscription that ends automatically at the end of the 2 months, with no automatic renewal or recurring billing.

Renewals and Weekly Subscriptions

After completing or purchasing the initial course, students can reactivate a weekly subscription at any time. The weekly subscription plan renews automatically each week and can be cancelled at any time from the student dashboard.

3Payments and Subscriptions

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. All prices include GST where applicable.

4Access to Courses and Platform

Access to all membership content begins immediately once payment has been successfully confirmed. If payment processing is delayed or unsuccessful, access will begin only after confirmation is complete.

Access to the practice platform is provided through a trusted third-party partner. It may take up to 24 hours for access to be granted after payment confirmation, although it usually happens much sooner. The platform includes mock tests, sectional tests, and thousands of practice questions. While we are not responsible for third-party interruptions or bugs, we collaborate with our partners to resolve any issues promptly.

5Private Lessons and Packages

Booking Rules

Private lessons and packages can be purchased at ptewhat.com/private-lessons. All private lessons must be scheduled through our official booking system.

Rescheduling Policy

Students may reschedule a booked session once, provided the change is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled starting time. It is not possible to reschedule a session within 24 hours of its scheduled start time. Failure to attend will result in the session being forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

Expiration of Lessons

All booked or included lessons must be used before the end of the membership or package validity period. Unused sessions after expiration cannot be transferred or refunded.

Discounted Lessons for Active Members

Students with an active course subscription have access to discounted private lessons. These lessons must be booked through the dashboard and used while the subscription remains active. Once the subscription ends, any unused discounted lesson credits will expire and cannot be transferred or refunded.

6Recordings

Group classes and live sessions may be recorded for quality assurance, educational, or promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to these recordings. All recordings remain the intellectual property of PTEwhat/Proficiency School.

Recording any session without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

7Payment Processing and Refunds

Payment Processing

If a payment fails or a renewal cannot be processed, access to the course or subscription benefits will be temporarily paused until the issue is resolved. Users will be notified to update their payment details promptly to restore access.

Refund Policy

Refunds for the initial course are only granted in cases of duplicate transactions or verified technical errors that prevent access. Refunds are not available for change of mind, non-usage of services, or failure to cancel a renewing subscription in time.

8Usage and Account Security

Your account is personal and non-transferable. Sharing login details or allowing others to use your account is strictly prohibited. Suspicious activity may lead to account suspension without refund.

9Intellectual Property

All content, including videos, templates, AI feedback, and course materials, is owned by ptewhat or our licensors. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use materials for personal learning only. Reproduction or redistribution is not permitted.

10Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and manage personal data according to Australian privacy laws. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

11Limitation of Liability

We make no guarantees regarding specific results. Outcomes depend on each student's effort, consistency, and individual performance. Our content and support are designed to be educational in nature.

12Service Availability

Temporary downtime may occur due to maintenance or updates. We aim to communicate these interruptions promptly through WhatsApp or email notifications to keep users informed and maintain transparency.

13Conduct and Community Standards

We expect respectful and constructive participation. Disrespectful or disruptive behaviour may lead to service termination without refund.

14Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be handled under Australian law through mediation or alternative dispute resolution before any legal action. All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

15Modification of Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services, courses, pricing, or platform features at our discretion and without prior notice. When possible, we will communicate significant changes to active members through WhatsApp or email.

16Third-Party Links and Services

Our platform may contain links to or integrations with third-party services such as payment processors, communication tools, and learning platforms. While we strive to ensure reliability, we are not responsible for the content, availability, or issues arising from third-party services. We will, however, assist in resolving any related issues within our capacity.

17Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the most recent version.
